Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I use a welcome message delay?
Adding a small welcome message delay (like 0.1 seconds) helps ensure that Sophiie doesn’t start speaking too early, giving the caller a moment before the greeting begins so the interaction feels more natural.

Why is call recording disclosure needed for compliance?
The recording disclosure is necessary to inform callers that the call is being recorded. This allows the Sophiie AI company to provide you with an audio file of the call for your records and displays in the call inbox under the key point summary. And ensures legal compliance.

How do I test the greeting and closing after I set them up?
You can do a quick test call to your Sophiie number to hear how the greeting and closing messages sound. This lets you confirm everything is working as expected and make any tweaks if needed.

Can I have different greetings for different times of day?
Currently, you can set a standard greeting and an after-hours greeting.
