How to Add Products in Sophiie

Adding products helps Sophiie explain your products clearly to customers. Physical/digital products if applicable. Not every business has physical or digital products. If you do not sell products, then skip this section. To add products follow the steps below.

Step 1: Open the Products Section

  1. Log in to Sophiie Dashboard

  2. Click Train Sophiie

  3. Select Products

Step 2: Add a Category

  1. Click + Add Category
  2. Select an appropriate category for your products.  If you cannot find the correct category you can use the Category called “other”

Step 3: Add a Product Manually

  1. Click Add Product or the + icon.
  2. Enter Product Name: Use a short, clear product title.
  3. Add a short description.  This will be used if a caller requires more information about the product.  If you’d like help you can use the “Generate description” button and Sophiie will provide a description of your product based on the product name.
  4. Select your Pricing type
    • Fixed - add in the box the dollar amount, this will be in your currency set in your business information section.  For example, Fixed Price (AUD)
    • Price Range - add the starting price in the Min Price box (minimum price) and add the end price in the Max Price box (maximum price)
    • Not applicable - no pricing to be used or set. Will not give out any pricing for this product.
  5. Add Product FAQs
    • Click on + Add FAQ
    • Enter the question a caller may ask
    • Enter the answer manually or click on Generate response to have Sophiie create an answer for you
  6. Click Save to apply your update.

Step 4: Bulk Import Products 

  • Click on Import Products button
  • Download the CSV template or the Excel template.  You need to use our import template files to import your products.
  • Fill in the template - Product Name, Description and Price
  • Click the Select File button and browse your computer for the template file you added your products to. 
  • Once selected the file will show in the import popup
  • Click on Import

Use the little trashcan icon and confirm you want to delete.
