How do I set my business location in Sophiie?

Your location lives on the Location card at Settings → Business → Business profile. Pick the type that matches how you work — Fixed location, Mobile business or Remote/online business — and the page saves automatically. Sophiie supports one business location.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings → Business → Business profile and find the Location card. (Old Train Sophiie → Location bookmarks redirect here.)
  2. Choose your location type:

- Fixed location — a set address customers can come and visit. - Mobile business — you travel out to customers' homes and businesses. - Remote/online business — you work online, or don't want an address given out to callers. No address is needed, and switching to Remote clears any saved address.

  1. For a Fixed location: start typing in the address search box and pick the right suggestion — it's a single Google-powered search, not separate street, suburb, state and postcode fields. A map appears below; drag the pin to fine-tune the exact position. You can also add a Landmark if your premises are hard to find — the field only appears in Fixed mode, and the saved landmark is cleared if you switch to another mode.
  2. For a Mobile business: set your Base location the same way (address search box), then your Travel radius — the maximum distance you'll travel, up to 1000, shown in km (or miles if your business country is the US or UK). Then fill in Postcodes you don't service if there are pockets you skip: one per line (commas and spaces also separate entries). Use postcodes only — a suburb name will be accepted but won't work, and a two-word name gets split into two entries. There's no list of areas you do service. Your travel radius does two jobs: Sophiie can mention it on a call, and it also limits who can be booked — a team member is only offered a job when the address is inside their travel distance, with a small allowance for road distance. Excluded postcodes are blocked on top of that.
  3. There's no Save button — the page saves automatically as you go. One catch: a Fixed or Mobile location with no address picked is deliberately held back. The rest of the page still saves, but the location itself won't persist until you choose an address — the page tells you: "Add your address and Sophiie will save this location."

Common Questions

Can I add multiple locations?

No — Sophiie supports exactly one business location, and the form won't accept more. The single location is updated in place whenever you change it.

Can I delete my location?

There's no delete control — you update the one location rather than removing it. If you no longer want an address given out to callers, switch the type to Remote/online business, which clears the saved address.

How quickly do location changes take effect?

Your changes apply from the next call — a call already in progress keeps the settings it started with. Save your change and it's in place for the calls that follow; there's nothing to publish or refresh.

Why isn't my location saving?

Almost always the address: a Fixed or Mobile location is held back until you've picked an address from the search suggestions — typing one without selecting a suggestion isn't enough. And note the excluded-postcodes box isn't checked for you: whatever you type is split on spaces, commas and line breaks, and every piece is saved as an excluded postcode (only blank lines are dropped) — so double-check your own entries.
