How do I add the Sophiie booking form to my website?
You don't need to write any code — Sophiie generates the whole install snippet for you at Settings → Inquiries → Web → Website booking form, with your form's ID already baked in. If you'd rather skip the website entirely, every form also has a plain shareable link.
Steps
- Go to Settings → Inquiries → Web → Website booking form and switch it on if it isn't already. Switching it on is what creates your form, its ID and its link — an open channel always has all three.
- Open the Install instructions card.
- Choose who's doing the install: I'll set it up or My web developer. Picking the second emails the install instructions straight to your developer — you're done.
- Pick your website builder: Wix, WordPress, Squarespace or Other. Each shows its own step list.
- Type your button text (it starts as "Book Now") and pick primary or secondary styling. The preview shows exactly what the button will look like.
- Click Copy, then paste the snippet following the steps shown for your builder. For Wix, that's: click +, search for HTML iframe, add it, click Enter code, paste the script, click Update and save. For WordPress, paste it into a Custom HTML block on the page where you want the button.
Visitors who click the button get your booking form opened in a new tab.
Choosing the fields on your form
The same settings page has a field picker that controls what the form asks for. Three fields are locked on and always appear; the other eight are optional switches, so you only ask for what you actually need. The phone field is also smart about country codes — it opens pre-filled with your business's own country code, so local customers just type their number.
No website? Share the link instead
Every form has a plain link of the form https://forms.sophiie.ai/w/your-form-id, with Copy and Preview webform buttons on the same settings page. Paste it into an email signature, an SMS or a social bio — no code involved.
Common Questions
Where do I find my webform ID?
You don't need to hunt for it. The ID is created when you switch the Website booking form channel on, and it's already baked into the snippet you copy and into the shareable link.
Can I have more than one form?
No — it's one booking form per organisation. Switching the channel on creates your form, and the install snippet and shareable link both point to that one form.
Can I change how the button looks?
In the dashboard you set the button text and choose primary or secondary styling. If your developer wants finer control, the script accepts a styles object of camelCase CSS properties (for example backgroundColor, borderRadius, fontSize) which override the default button styles property by property. If they leave the button text out, it defaults to "Open Sophiie Forms".
The button isn't showing on my page — why?
The snippet's <div data-sophiie-webform> element must be on the page before the script call runs — otherwise the script errors with "No elements found". Paste the whole copied snippet as one block and you'll be fine. On WordPress, a Custom HTML block on a page or a footer template both work (a footer template puts it on every page).
