Customer Card Overview
This article provides a walkthrough of the customer card page, including all of its features and how to use them to manage customer interactions.
Step 1: Access the Customer Overview Page
After you have clicked on a customer's profile, you will arrive at the customer overview page.
Step 2: Understand the Customer Insights
At the top of the page, you will see a section for "Customer Insights." This section provides key information about the customer, including:
- The date they first became a customer.
- The number of jobs that have been completed for them.
- Their most common channel of communication (e.g., call, text, email, webform, chatbot).
Step 3: Review Customer History
Below the insights section, you will find a summary of the customer's history. This includes three key areas:
- Activity Summary: This provides a summary of the customer's interactions.
- Communication History: This section lists all past communications.
- Activity History: This section details past activities, such as when Person sent a text message or a team member left a note on the profile.
Step 4: Make Quick Edits to Contact Information
On the left-hand side of the page, you can quickly change the customer's contact information. You can edit:
- Business name
- Phone number
- Address
Step 5: Add or Remove Customer Tags
To add a tag, simply click on the tag field. Tags help you to categorize customers and can include labels like:
- "Supplier"
- "VIP"
- "Family member"
These tags will appear on the dashboard when the customer calls, allowing you to quickly identify their status.
Step 6: Update Call Status
You can also mark the status of a call. This is useful for tracking your team's follow-up efforts. The options are:
- "You have called them"
- "No answer"
- "Left a voicemail"
- "You spoke to them"
Step 7: Navigate to Other Communication Features
From the customer card, you can also quickly access other communication features.
You can quick-select the text message option to be taken to the text message page where you can quickly send a text.
You can also quickly send an email.
Step 8: View Jobs, Quotes, and Invoices
Further down the page, you will be able to see any jobs that are booked in with that specific customer.
The system will also soon be able to show quotes and invoices.
